Our special Masterclass Monday featuring Michael & Evita is geared for advanced dancers with a minimum 3 years active experience.

Where: Mount Hawthorn Community Centre

When: Monday 24th April 2023

6:30pm – 8:00pm – The Art of Connection

In this special Lindy Hop class Michael and Evita will describe and demonstrate how they aim for a flow of social, improvisational dancing that is smooth and seamless. This quality of movement with your partner lends itself to phenomenal opportunities for creativity and enjoyed moments of magical connection.

8:10pm – 9:40pm – Teacher Training

Michael and Evita destill their (almost) 50 years of combined teaching experiences into this 90-minute class about how to be effective teachers.
They will cover topics including class organisation, pedagogy, history, technique, and more.

The ideal student for this class is…
• already teaching Swing/Lindy Hop classes
• an advanced dancer thinking about teaching or helping others learn
• is a passionate dancer interested in re-examining their dance technique
• is perhaps a newer dancer who is incredibly hungry and curious about improving

Cost:

Individual Blocks – $35 each

2 Block combo – $60
